Discipleship Explored

Time and space to think about what it really means to live the Christian Life.

This journey through Paul’s letter to the Philippians helps us to think about questions such as:

  • What is life really all about?
  • How can I grow as a Christian?
  • How can I enjoy being a Christian more?

Discipleship Explored will take place on the following Thursdays:

  • 18th October
  • 25th October
  • 1st November
  • 8th November
  • 15th November

The course will be run in the morning following the 10:00am communion service (beginning around 10.45am with coffee), and will be repeated in the evening at 7.30pm. All sessions take place at Holy Trinity Church, Whitecross Road.

There will also be an ‘Away Day’ on Saturday 10th November between 10am and 3pm at Holy Trinity Church.

Each week begins with refreshments before a short DVD is shown that introduces the topic for that week. This is followed by discussion in small groups using questions from the writers of the course, or questions that arise from the group discussions themselves. Group members participate as much or as little as they would like to; some enjoy hearing what others think, some come to ask questions, some are able to offer their own experience or opinion for others to discuss, but all enjoy spending time together getting to know God’s word.

Come and join us as we learn together what it means to live a Christian life in the world today.
